I go along because it brings cheer to most, and can bring up those of us it doesn't -- if we let it. So huzzah! Celebrate our mutual humanity if not the fable. Be glad of good friends, and the opportunity to make more. For me today - a convocation of beach-buddies, most of whom will be new friends by the end of the day. Huzzah!

Today I get my coffee from a brand new coffee press. ☕ I broke mine a while ago and haven't been able to find one affordable until yesterday. I've been using basket filters in a common funnel for a long time now.

First sip: Oh, I missed the silty fullness of a cup of freshly pressed black #coffee.

Helped a friend clear a couple of bugs out of her pantry last night after she got back to Puerto Rico. She had been gone about 9 months dealing with cancer which she is now free of. First night she thought the lizards had moved in which are not so bad.

Good Tuesday morning 'nauts. I saw this interesting house on the way to the job yesterday, spent the day hauling blocks, demoing and cleaning in preparation for paint and floor repair, at my friend's place, then spent an hour at the beach cooling off in the water. Then I had this lovely snack of corned beef and plantain amarillas with a dark rum and tonic. Finished off with a great conversation with the folks at the next table. It was a good day.

I hope yours was as well.

Is Clamato and beer a breakfast drink, or a cocktail?

I think a lime and salt would make it a cocktail. Plain ol' Red Beer is a breakfast drink.
