Holy moly! I just looked at my notifications for followers - so many! I don't get auto-notified and haven't checked recently.

Well, I'll try to find time to go thru them all. Warning - I don't' treat it like an obligation here. I look to follow folks that provide conversation or content, not simply likes (nice) or follows (also nice) so my friends column is homey and comfortable. I often hide the hose, but browse it to find new interesting folks.

Don't take offense if I don't add you. 🤟

I'm pretty sure it's tied to #J6 but I've just felt "off" all morning. An anxiety that I just don't usually ever get. That all of this - 10 sessions of this and the recommendations - are going to result in absolutely squat. I do hope there is a Rick Smith announcement immediately after this today but not holding my breath either.

Seriously? I'm sitting here in my fuzzy robe reading through the AARP magazine, sipping lemonade and munching a Gouda, Parmesan, turkey cold cut pizza I just whipped up.

Good God what's happened to me?

So I started out this morning organizing my junk drawer, that extended to more kitchen cleaning and organizing. I hung up my skillets and cleaned all the spices that have been gathering dust and grease for years in this old house. Much better now.

My latest, tooting it into existence. 😉

Why am I seeing half a dozen cabbage recipes a day recommended to me? I swear I haven't searched for or clicked on any. And I search with DD-go. Anyone else? Bueller?

Fire and Water in Puerto Rico.

Lots of FEMA money allocated since Maria 5 years ago - but little has been used, and Fiona showed how fragile the electrical grid is. Completely unreliable. Little has been done to decentralize and provide a robust system via renewable solar.

Water pumping stations have little backup power, even though $$ is there to purchase/rent generators, and diesel in short supply.

No fire, no water.

60° today, 49 and snow tomorrow. Wanted to sail or ride. Co-captain didn't get out of bed til 10:30 hungover, and motorcycle battery is dead, had to buy new after a couple wasted hours attempting to charge it. Now into my 4th pint of hazy and many sads. 🙁 But - Good convo with barmate on the other side of the political spectrum. I value and work to make those convos happen.

Good morning lovely people! Sunny, clear and supposed to approach 60° today. I think a motorcycle ride may be in order after breakfast, or maybe to go get breakfast, but after #coffee...hmm, I need a good diner a short ride away with a long road behind it.
