A simple aluminum pole, no decorations, I find tinsel distracting.
Add a burning tree however...And you now have Solstivus!
@JoyfullyDazed
The crowd chorale was spot on!
Quite lovely!
Thank you. π«Ά

About time Wisconsin did something right. I've been worried about them for a while.
@BrentSullivan
Looks good enough to eat!
π½οΈ I love mole!
@Mandypar
You too! Just heading to the kettle. Here's hoping your day will clear a bit.
Either way, you're enough sunshine for most.
@Mandypar
Hi Miss Mandy! Hope you're having a good day. π
@Dbot
Me too. Just looked. All were charcoal. Reasonable to expensive. Like fondu for meaty bits!
@fuse
You bet! I found it interesting.
@Dbot
I see it now that I enlarged it. It's a metal mushroom with a bunch of vent holes in it so just has a LP or natural gas feed underneath there. That's awesome! Drippings will land on the metal and burn off, smoking & flavoring the food. Too much will drip into the pan. I love it. #BBQ #CoSoCooking
Long distance information kept givin' me Memphis Tennessee, and they never found the party tryin' to get in touch with me...
@grrlscientist
No joke. As a kid, I used to believe that they were mice meat pies. My mother would help the church ladies in the kitchen to make them. I knew this was so because of the Tom and Jerry where cat yells "I'm going to make mincemeat out of you" to the mouse. I was a kid and I hunted rabbits and squirrels and we ate them, why not mice? π€·ββοΈ
Leading to "Rikki Don't Lose That Number", by Steely Dan in 1974 and 1981's "867-5309" by Tommy Tutone. No word on whether 25 or 6 to 4 from Chicago connected probably the wrong time of day, they might have needed the operator's help to make that call, like this guy "Operator (That's Not the Way It Feels)" by Jim Croce.

@Dbot
That looks like fun. What's the heat source?
@BrentSullivan @fuse
Very nice! I sometimes used to wrap a tea towel around mine, now it goes into a thermos, and I rinse out the press. Ready for round 2 if necessary.β

On the origins of the French coffee press;

Well, technically Puerto Rican now, but it was made in P.R.C. π
