I just washed the guest sheets and was putting them back on the bed when I noticed they're stained with Kamasutra oil. I found the empty bottle in the trash.
1. Best way to remove the stains.
2. They were good guests.
Do I ask them to replace them
if the stains don't come out?
3. My usual is to just forget about it. Cost of doing business, except they're very nice new sheets. From Costco.

Okay @divisionbyzero I hope not, but tend to believe you.
@stueytheround will try a kettle and hot water, but @heyrhiannon I also ordered the Puracy baby stain remover - I hope it works on Senior stains as well, 'cause I've got 'em. 😜

@ToolPackinMama Thanks for your sympathy...but yes I'm kinda used to going through spoiled linens from guests.

@mightymite I'll look up Persil detergent for later - right now I've got a big supply of Ecos liquid because I double bought a few weeks ago and had already done that and stashed a big bottle.

@FireMonkey Most oily substances will come out with *very* hot water and dish soap soak. Boil a kettle.

@FireMonkey
If you're in the US, I've found this stuff gets everything out, even after it's been washed and dried.

Puracy Natural Baby Laundry Stain Remover, Enzyme Odor Eliminator

@FireMonkey
I would add that this is the baby version, the regular one doesn't work nearly as well.

@FireMonkey After the heat of the dryer the oil stains are set.

@heyrhiannon Isn't it? I stock up whenever I get coupons. I'd love to switch to detergent sheets and be more eco-friendly, but I can't give up my Persil!

@FireMonkey

@FireMonkey
The Puracy works on senior stains, puppy stains, baby stains and more. :)

@divisionbyzero @stueytheround @ToolPackinMama

@FireMonkey I've had good success with Oxi Clean for many stains in the laundry. When I drank daily coffee not so long ago, it was great for a weekly deep clean of the travel mug and all the little parts, too. 1 tsp and fill with boiling water, soak for a couple of hours. Works great on tea stains, too. Good luck!
