Shouldn't we make newspapers utilities, they're part of the commons and mentioned in the Constitution.

@FireMonkey
I would support something like this for local newspapers. As long as there is a very strict firewall between funding, and editorial.
The problem is always in the details.
Any wall that one could erect between funding and editorial...always leaks.
To the harm of truth. Ya

@corlin Yes, But we used to be able to keep a firewall between commercial and news sides of our broadcast systems. Newscasters weren't even allowed to speak with anyone from advertising. The news division was always a losing proposition, but it was there for the public good.

@FireMonkey
Yes. TV and Radio News did have good walls between ad & edit.

But Newspapers, leaked badly.
I was a union newspaper pressman for many years. Got to know the reporters, and op/ed staffs well. (Mostly at the bar.) get a few drinks into them, and they all complained about it.

@corlin Good to know. BTW, I wish your bash command would work.

@FireMonkey

Ya me to:

Even tried "Sudo"...
Returned:
Executable on November 3 2020

@corlin Can we shorten the execution time, 11/3/20 to 1/22/21 is a lot of wasted cycles. :death:
