I got spooked by a rat in the dark.

Stupid nervous system thinks this is a major crisis instead of me protecting my pie that was cooling outside.

Pie was delicious. Chocoöate with raspberries.

Shakes and headache I could live without.

Tried to get Smush to save me. She was cozy and warm on my seat, no chance of her moving..

I shall imitate this cat for now.

Disability irony or life's sarcasm?
I can't tell anymore.

But since previous night was too hot and stormy, I didn't sleep at all. Slept a few short naps during the day. Now I can't sleep because my brain is too tired to sleep. And I have a tension headache because I didn't sleep.

Sigh.

This is why I hate being disabled.

I want to do a proper medieval rope bed. I have all the pieces, tools etc. What I don't have is a stable knee and shoulder to use a handsaw. I can chisel the joints, but sawing AND chiseling?

Out of 4 bed post castle joints, I managed one before my body nopety noped and gave up.

But hopefully my aide will saw the pieces tomorrrow and I can just chisel and finish.

Went to lake channel for afternoon coffee, and drove a little way to a small salmon fishery that make smoked salmon. Almost fresh from the smokery, the fish was hot still when they handed it to us!
Made some Finnish fish tacos, with a barley flat bread and some greek salad.
