I'm just going to say it. Finally. This needed to happen. Had she retired when she was clearly losing her faculties we could be celebrating her legacy of achievement first. But she held too tight to power she could no longer wield and now her passing is a relief above all else.

Maybe unpopular opinion here: I understand a lot of the backlash Boebert is getting from her recent antics. She's made a fool of herself. After basing her career on ridiculing others she's made herself the object of ridicule by behaving crudely and offensively in public.

But...

Some of the forms that ridicule she has earned are appearing in are slut-shaming and bordering on revenge porn. Hate to piss on the parade but it's making me uncomfortable.

Here's a wild story! Right wing source puts out an interview with that goes so poorly that people including Olbermann are calling it an AI hoax, saying Real America's Voice was duped. RAV stands behind interview and then an update comes out claiming a person claiming to be RAV's owner who said he'd investigate if three interview was really is the actual imposter.

As has been observed, the Georgia indictments sting in larger part because even if gets elected he will have no power to pardon anyone convicted in Georgia. Presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes.

So I wondered what's to stop a corrupt enough Georgia governor from doing the pardoning for him? What I found at the link below is that it isn't that easy. To start, pardon applicants have to finish their sentence and wait 5 years to apply
