#politics As has been observed, the Georgia indictments sting in larger part because even if #Trump gets elected he will have no power to pardon anyone convicted in Georgia. Presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes.
So I wondered what's to stop a corrupt enough Georgia governor from doing the pardoning for him? What I found at the link below is that it isn't that easy. To start, pardon applicants have to finish their sentence and wait 5 years to apply
