@holon42 Right. That's how politics is done right, with people, with not only effort applied at the time but the benefit of relationships built before the moment. On one hand she doesn't deserve all the credit, but on the other would it have gotten done so well if it wasn't her at the forefront?

oh, no doubt she's been working. and talking to Biden. this was no snap decision. it's been a process.
i think they worked out the best timing, and his getting Covid now was a good occasion to do it.
she's a phenomenon, yes, but she didn't do it single-handedly or with a hidden agenda, imho anyway.
