Middle kiddo turned 18 yesterday. I now have TWO adult children.

So, my sister (half) went and got a tattoo "for Dad" yesterday.

Totally took my idea for what I was planning on doing for a tattoo for Dad.

Texted my Dad's Widow, to say I am thinking about her and sending her love. All I get is "Thank you" in reply.

I know this is hard for her too, but throughout this WHOLE ordeal, I feel like people have forgotten that I lost my DAD too. She didn't just lose a husband of 6 years. I lost my Dad of 40. I have felt like my grief and loss hasn't been acknowledged at all by "family". It sucks and makes it so much harder. #Grief

Today is one year since Dad died. I miss him, a lot. I find myself wanting to call him and ask so many things, but I can't.

It's still a little surreal to me, that both my parents are gone. #Grief

Ordered myself some Skechers shoes, cause I'm old and my flat, no support slip ons aren't doin it for my feet anymore....

Thankfully, husband is still outta town, so he will not see all the crap I ordered from Amazon. Hooray!

(He doesn't actually care, but would absolutely be like "WTF!?" if he was here to witness the delivery.....lol)

Anxiety has been getting the best of me all night. Didn't sleep well because of it.

Not sure what it's problem is. I am not KNOWINGLY anxious over anything specific. Everything is fine in reality. ( World crises aside)

I just picked up a bottle of tincture, but Imma have to get another one soon, if my brain doesn't calm the fuck down. lol

Was at the pharmacy yesterday, and the pharmacist was trying to explain to an elderly man why he was being prescribed antibiotics before oral surgery.

He just did not understand how he could possibly get an infection. She repeatedly told him that there are bacteria in your mouth, and with an open wound, it can easily become infected. "Well, how does the bacteria get in there?" he asked more than once.

She had the patience of a Saint. *I* was getting frustrated, just listening. lol

I am so sick of these religious freak politicians, making laws based off their made up book, full of made up bullshit, to appease a made up man.

I do NOT believe in your religion. I do NOT believe in your fake ass book! Why should I be forced to go along with it? "Freedom of Religion" means YOU can practice whatever religion YOU want! It does NOT mean you get to force your shit onto others!
