Just finished "The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches" by Sangu Mandanna! Book #80 for the year! I LOVED this book! Very good! Worth the month wait at the library. Lol

Kids asked to take a Mental Health day today, so we will stay nice and cozy at home! I gotta run to Wally World for some Drano, but maybe I'll make some yummy snacks and finish my book today.....

@mcfate I just don't get it. I'd understand it a bit more if it were a local kid, that WENT to the High School....but no! lol *sigh* Kids are effing dumb, man....lol

Got an email from the school, at 8:45 last night, stating that they received threatening messages via voice mail. Local cops, FBI all involved. Traced it back to a minor in New York. Dafuq? What does that kid have to gain by doing that? SMH

5:25pm and it's 29.7°F. It only hit 34.5° today for a high! We had DENSE fog all day too. At least, it was dense around my house...I didn't go anywhere today.

Spent hours and hours making that Jello mold yesterday.

After cutting about 3 servings out/off of it....it tipped over and fell off the cake stand I had it on.

😡 😣 😭 I am really bummed, but I'm going to make another this week, cause I want FAN-CEE Jello, dangit!!! lol

@LaurelGreen I was gifted a Christmas Cactus when my oldest was born (Nov 02). It survived something like 18ish years? And I am terrible with plants!

Today, I make my rainbow Jello mold.

It took me a decade (give or take) to get it right.

I survived Thanksgiving!

I didn't eat anything and was asked how my Dad was, twice, by people that didn't know he'd passed, BUT..I got to hold TWO sweet babies (my niece and a cousins baby) so, it wasn't too bad.

@smittycanada1 We bought an LG years ago (over 10) and the picture quality was so amazing, that's all we've bought since! It wasn't just us, either, guests would always comment on the picture quality and how good it looked.

First major holiday without my Dad. First major holiday without BOTH my parents.

I'm driving the struggle bus. Bummed. Sad. I don't want to go to my in-laws tomorrow, but if I say that to husband, it'll be a fight and he and the kids will go without me. He'd rather show up for them (can't let them down!) and be absent for me. "I'm fine." I'll tell everyone, as I find a quiet place to hide, until he decides he's ready to leave.
