@John_Downey It's like, they're offering loans against your inheritance. A; We give you money NOW, then you give it back plus interest, when the estate pays out, thing. All I'm getting from my Dad's "Estate", is his old cedar hope chest, an album of family photos and some of my grandpa's guns. There ain't no money comin. Lol I feel bad for people that fall for this.... :(

Got another one of those scammy, "Don't wait for probate!" crap in the mail, regarding my Dad.

It's odd though, cause it's not addressed to my Legal name, but the name family calls me, and it's spelled correctly which most people don't spell it correctly. Dad did not have an obituary published, so I'm curious where they're getting the info.

Not real sure what to do with myself, with the kids back to school and my oldest having moved out. My "alone" days have been few since the pandemic in 2020, due to it and just life changes in general.

Time to add another dog to the mix.....! lol

We got the pellet stove installed this weekend! Hooray!

Upon installation, we discovered it has WiFi. And an app. Ya'll I can control my fireplace with my phone!!! Turn it on, turn it off. Change the temp.

I can even connect it to my Google Home and control it with just my voice! Pretty freakin cool, I think. #Remodel

@TrueBloodNet She had been using it. She's not afraid of it. I installed it so the dogs could come and go as they pleased, I don't want to be The Gatekeeper anymore. So, no, getting up and letting her in isn't an option. :)

Mogwai has regressed with her dog door usage. She's back to sitting outside it, barking. She goes up to it and barely touches it...it doesn't open, so she thinks she can't get in. *sigh* Not sure what to do with this nincompoop. #Dogs #CosoDogs

Ordered light fixtures from Overstock. One was missing a part. Contacted Overstock. They said they couldn't get a replacement part, and to send the fixture back. Ugh. Fine. I sent it back yesterday. What shows up today? The replacement parts they told me they couldn't get. Fuckers.

One of my apple trees has uprooted and fallen. :( Not sure why. There's TONS of apples on it (Yellow Transparents, if my Gran was correct) and I'm pretty bummed to lose it.

The theater in my lil town, is showing The Goonies, starting today. We are taking the kids at 11:30am. SQUEEEEE! The Goonies is, hands down, THE movie of my childhood. I've never seen it on the big screen! :D

Every night, Aslan, my big dumb orange boy, sits outside my daughter's bedroom and cries. Paws at her door and just wails to be let in. She never opens the door, yet every night he does this. It's pretty funny at this point. We have no idea why he does it. #CoSoCats #AslanTheMainecoon

@KazzyH I have poles for a laundry line in the yard, FIL pulled them outta his yard and gave them to me cause he knew I wanted some. I painted them and everything.......

Lost the wire/string/line I bought, so there they stand. Naked and unused. :( lol I could buy more, but it drives me bonkers to know I DO have it, it's just lost in the garage! lol
