Would anyone know why CoSo doesn't open on my laptop? It tried to open the page but it never loads correctly. I use Edge as my browser. Any insight would be helpful
@EllyOnTheGo I use Chrome and it seems to work ok on that browser.
@gshevlin I've tried that as well, still no luck
@EllyOnTheGo I use Brave browser, and it seems to work fine on any of the Chromium based ones.
Edge seems to have a lot of unwholesome stuff going on under the hood.
@AskTheDevil I honestly think it's my laptop. I've had it for years and it finally starting to show it's age 🫤

@EllyOnTheGo Did you check to make sure that Javascript is enabled? I had to reinstall Chrome and it had JS disabled by default. I think it's under settings>site permissions in Edge.

@EllyOnTheGo Hey ok, I just opened Edge and it seems to work fine from here. There are a few errors in the developer console but nothing that actually stopped it from loading. Do you have any browser extensions installed?

@EllyOnTheGo There's your problem. You beed to whitelist counter.social in your adblocker. Which given that there are no ads, is no biggie.

@EllyOnTheGo I know this is basic AF but having whitelisted coso, have you closed your browser and reloaded? If you're still getting nowhere, it's totally ok to ask the best troubleshooter in town 😜

@th3j35t3r @stueytheround @nonayadambidnes Everything is updated with the latest version. I was using Edge for everything and then when I saw the site wasn't working I tried Chrome but that didn't work either. I have no extentions installed

Have you rebooted? If both browser are failing it's something else prob AV on your computer. What are you using now? To post?

Okay that's strange. If it was this end I'd have had thousands of support shout outs.
When did you last reboot that computer? I only ask because I had it where the user hadn't rebooted their computer or refreshed COSO in over 6 months.

@EllyOnTheGo @th3j35t3r @stueytheround It seems like it's stuck in a loop. Maybe if you check your console it will show something? When you're on the page hold down command+shift and then hit the letter "i" and when the developer tools opens, click on console on the menu at the top and see what kind of errors it's throwing. Maybe take a screenshot and post it.

@EllyOnTheGo I'd try just shutting in off and refreshing CoSo and see if that helps. I use uBlock Origin which is fantastic because you can easily turn it off on sites you're not worried about.
