As a reminder, if you have a house fire and your house is uninhabitable, tell the fire company to request the Red Cross, or contact them directly at 1800 Red Cross. They can provide a small amount of immediate cash assistance along with other resources, once the fire is confirmed.

Also, if you rent, consider getting renter’s insurance. I know here you can get it for like $25/month.

I prefer a present wrapped in used paper. There was a stretch when family gave me presents wrapped in fabric because I quilted a lot. It’s nice to think of Mother Earth

I'm just wondering how someone could find an app you have to specifically choose to use, and which doesn't use push notifications, could possibly be a nuisance. Makes no sense. It's like calling a houseplant "talkative."
