Ants are truly amazing on so many levels.
They can plummet from a height equivalent to us falling several hundred stories onto concrete and just keep on trucking.
I could drone on about ants for hours.
Ants stink. Literally. I'm also suspicious of myrmecologists classifying nearly identical ants as separate species simply based on a difference in width between antennae.
To me that's like calling redheads and blonds different species. They (the myrmecologists) are exaggerating to make their jobs seem more important.
