@Deck449 Welcome to COSO ๐. Itโs been this way since its launch in Nov โ17. Itโs a community grown out of mutual respect for civil conversations about life, current events and a whole lotta fun. Glad to see youโve arrived . Do enjoy. ๐
@Deck449 staaahhp it--you're EMBARRASSING us...
@Deck449 Welcome to the CoSo family.
Be sure to read through the User Guide found here:
https://help.counter.social/en/latest/
It's available in PDF form as well, so you can download it and refer to it often; it will answer many questions you will have over time.
Learn how to do a hashtag search - those can be your friend and save you time while connecting you with like-minded people.
And always remember rule#1:
"Don't be a JERK".
Good luck!
@Deck449 Well, howdy thar pardner. Pull up a stool and have the beverage of your choice.
@Deck449 until you read what I post
@Deck449 ๐
Welcome to CoSo ! We are glad you are here
& thanks for noticing how different and wonderful this place is
@Deck449 When I first got here, I couldn't help looking over my shoulder expecting an attack. ๐
I love it here. ๐๐ฝโค๐๐ฝ
That's mostly true but as far as offensive speech goes, you should know some of us - including yours truly - cuss like those were the only words we learned as babies. ๐
I agree that CoSo has a nostalgic quality, reminding us of how it was before it got bad.
But I'm not sure that memory has not sweetened those memories a bit to be nicer than they were.
I think of CoSo as very forward looking. Ahead of the pack in terms of quality, features and providing value to its users.
It's a survivable and non-toxic online space - a radical *new* idea ;)
Welcome!
@Deck449 Welcome aboard!
