@Cosmichomicide That may be true for some places, but not where I live. When we were building our house we were constantly having to speak to Code enforcement.
Oh Code Enforcement and Inspection are givens. But the Code they were enforcing... 🤷
@Cosmichomicide My husband was convinced that the state codes here were mostly written by the construction material industries and the trades.
