Fine. I've mentioned the Sunshine Skyway bridge disaster several times and only my friend from Sarasota seems to remember it - and she would obviously have good reason.
It made the news here. There was a bus on it when it was hit. Was it not big news then?

Yah, that seems to be the case. When I saw the Baltimore accident, I pinged my Sarasota friend with "Like the Florida bridge!". I didn't remember it was the Sunshine Skyway, but she immediately (being from there) started talking about it.
I just thought it was bigger news at the time. Then again, everyone considered it an accident, like they should be considering this one. Really tragic, but an accident.
@Cosmichomicide it probably was a big deal but 40yrs my memory faded.
