The ideal temperature for sleep is generally in the 60s.
Texas recommends 82 degrees so the grid doesn't break.
Gonna be a long hot summer in the gun state.
@Cosmichomicide it is good to protect resources, but where was the Texas governor when the power grid needed shoring up a few years ago?
Pretty sure he was reassuring the folks who own the grid that it wouldn't cost them any money, he was just going to tell the rubes it was fixed. 🤷
@Cosmichomicide I gotta agree with this. If my house gets above 72* I am sweating my arse off! lol
I cannot imagine that they have set the thermostats in government buildings to this. But I am still amused at the idea of doing it.
Someone just posted on a different SM site:
