@Yarnchick I've had a few staff pounce on me as I'm barely through the door. My stock reply, "Can I get through the fucking door, take my jacket off and plant my arse on a seat first?" Now I tend to get offered a coffee. 😂 ☕
@jsto I absolutely love the William Orbit Mix of Electrical Storm. My first ever concert was the Zooropa / ZooTV tour - bloody brilliant version of Bullet the Blue Sky.
@jsto Nowhere near as tops as Beautiful Day.
J. Michael Straczynski on #AI and #writing:
"Since all AI “stories” are derivative of other works, the end result sounds like everyone else out there.
But here’s the problem: we already have everyone else."

The Swedish tradition that can make you happier at work
In Sweden, a coffee break is more than just a quick hit of caffeine. The Swedish coffee break or 'fika' is an excuse to slow down and relax in the company of others. The longstanding tradition reflects the Swedish ideal of slowing down to appreciate life's smaller joys. If done right, fika is believed to improve productivity and enhance wellbeing.

Tonight in 1985 — #RodSerling (1924-1975) was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
I still have the Stage 9 USS Enterprise D tour in virtual reality, by the team who went on to do the Orville VR tour on Steam (real dick move by CBS to issue a cease and desist on such a brilliant passion project and not hire them!)
It's awesome to walk around the ship; engineering, hangar bay, go inside a runabout, visit sick bay, different iterations of the bridge, the battle bridge...

STAR TREK'S BRENT SPINER - Fantastic Interview with Michael Rosenbaum
The wonderful Brent Spiner gives a great interview with Rosenbaum.
Ignore the description that promotes he 'pissed off Shatner' - they are good friends.
Brent is delightful as always.
@MJustin It's great going back and listening to the sounds of the day. Depending who's doing them, there's some naff, samey 90's dance (I'm talking to you Pete Tong), but there's plenty of diamonds in the more trance oriented mixes. Andrew Weatherall's was great.
Started working my way through Radio 1 Essential Mixes. Discovered mixesdb has them all with setlists and song links.
Last night I listened to Future Sound of London's 2hr Essential Mix from 1993. Wow! 🤯
If you like electronic, psychedelic, ambient music, I most highly recommend you check it out.
