Why is there an assumption that enslaved men and women had no skills prior to being captured and chained? Furthermore, does it escape reasoning to understand that as a free person, one might have the opportunity to choose a skill set or profession, instead of being assigned one?

There are layers of subliminal messaging inside every seemingly vacuous statement. Please be aware of what is really happening.

I've kept a Tumblr account since 2010. It's been an anonymous diary of sorts, allowing me full expression and a means of survival.

I realized the other day that I had not visited it for some time, and even longer since I posted original words. I then thought perhaps it was time to deactivate.

But as I scroll though the memory lane, I will miss that part of me - the feelings I had and the thoughts I shared. But I am not that person anymore.

Growth is powerful.

Never be upset when someone shows you their true colors. Not everyone will match or even complement your own. It’s best to know this upfront rather than years later.

Instead, search and find the ones who brighten your day, mellow with you, vibe with your energy, and help to make life worth the effort.

Internet question..

I moved last week and signed up with Spectrum for internet service. Since then, Bitdefender has given me 95 notices with the same threat blocked:
