Rosemary and sundried tomato foccacia bread on a lazy Saturday, yes please. It’s so easy to make this bread and comes out amazing.

@Ch3fchr1sto How easy is the recipe? I make sourdough poppyseed challah monthly, but that’s about it.

@JGSchaeffer super easy. You don’t need a mixer.
2 cups water @110°
2 tsp sugar/salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 packet dry yeast , bloom the yeast with the sugar and salt
4 cups “00” flour or bread flour, should be 8-12% protein
Combine ingredients, let rise and fold 4 times, every 30 minutes four times. Place in a 9x12 oiled pan, let rise one hour, simple and bake @400 for 20 mins or when golden brown delicious looking. I fold the rosemary and sundried toms after the first rise.

Thanks for the recipe! Bought yeast today and will give it a try tomorrow 😋

@Esther @Ch3fchr1sto Oooo…post pics! I’m travelling too much over the next few weeks to bake but I’m curious to see your results!❤️

I made the rosemary sun dried tomato focaccia today! It is amazing and very forgiving which is a huge relief given I haven’t baked bread in 20 years. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe ❤️

@Esther @Ch3fchr1sto YUM!! It looks wonderful- good for you in baking again, too!❤️❤️❤️

Thanks! Dimpling the bread was really fun - I’d never done that before… the dough was wonderfully soft like a pillow😊 I felt like eating the dough raw at that point😋

@Esther @LSWellesley @Ch3fchr1sto Cool!! I have to keep myself from eating raw dough every time I bake; know exactly what you mean!🤣❤️

@Ch3fchr1sto

I've never once made focaccia, and by gummy, you've inspired me.
