I was just wondering how much I hold the wealthy in contempt. Am I really against the rich getting richer? Probably but a bigger issue for me is I'm opposed to the wealthy deliberately rubbing my face in it.
I seriously believe that money has nothing to do with the reluctance. If these women weren't indigenous I believe the money would not be a discussion.
We can ask and if PP has any sense at all, he'll listen. But we're talking about a Right Wing Conservative with deep ties to the American MAGA movement and beholden to big American money.
We need to stop sending our money to fill the pockets of those already having more money than they can ever spend.

A little while ago I had a customer at my work say that putting Viola Desmond on our 10 dollar bill would be the same as putting OJ Simpson on it. Normally I stay silent when customers are absolute asshats, but this time I just couldn't. That guy was a total pos.
We don't need more concentration in our banking system.
This economy is not overheated. The only thing overheated is the greed of the Oligarchs. The inflation in this system is not demand driven. In fact, we're facing a recession if people are no longer able to afford daily essentials and we're heading there quickly!

Neither one has one honest brain cell between them. I left Facebook over two years ago because I wasn't prepared to be used for someone else's profit. Changing the name to Meta only exacerbated the con. I left Twitter last year when it was taken over by a twit. Never again.

There's no need for RBC to get any bigger. The RBC/HSBC merger is not in the best interest of Canadians as a whole especially considering the damaging support RBC gives to fossil fuel projects.
