It still amazes me that so many* people who worship a man who was condemned, tortured, and executed for resistance to religious and secular authority, are wholeheartedly in favor of condemnation, torture, and execution of people who have resisted religious and secular authority.

*Likely a majority of Christians today and probably over 90% in the past.
