I'm a Canadian but, after 7 decades of life, I know how important it is to us up here how things go in the US.

How did the US go from progressive actions in the Johnson era to today's corporate run government for the already wealthy.

Start with the Powell Memo. Frp, there you go to Reagan and trickle down etc. This is when the GOP started the move away from traditional conservatism and over to fascism.
