@ExecutiveFunction404 I think these types of people were always here (in fact I know it) but have now been emboldened by the current anti science leadership. If the "surgeon general" says it's okay, then it just reinforces their own beliefs.
@ExecutiveFunction404 I'm baffled by their ability to reject science and medical knowledge while working in a field that requires an education in science and medicine.
It really is the worst timeline.
You and me both. Would these medical professionals perform surgery maskless? Is sterilizing now a "woke" issue? Do they wash their hands even? How do they decide which settled science to follow? It's terrifying for anyone who needs medical care in Florida.
I'm standing with you in solidarity as someone who hasn't stopped masking in public ❤️
@ExecutiveFunction404 20+ years working in healthcare, I know more about the answers to those questions than I wish I did. (For the record, I've literally handwashed my fingerprints off so it's not me)
@CarrieLikesCoffee
Their insanity to completely reject science because they don't understand how it works is absolutely baffling to me. Choosing a surgeon general who's a conspiracy theorist is just evil. I honestly don't think I'd be able to handle being around such willfully ignorant people without going bald from pulling my hair out. Especially as the governor is purposely killing his constituents for the economy.
This timeline sucks.
