Does the “+” in LGBTQIA+ include couch, latex gloves, and/dolphin erotica or do we need to adVance to additional designations, identities, and preferences. I’m not a Sofasexual, but I understand why the Victorians covered the legs of their furniture.
🎶🎶🎶 She’s got legs and she knows how to use them🎶🎶🎶
@CanisPundit I'm assuming the + means that we don't kink-shame. : )
In any case, I'd rather make fun of Vance for stuff he actually did.
@AskTheDevil while I agree with your points I do enjoy the runaway success of the couch-fucker tweet and piling on. The beauty of how plausible it is. It’s not to say I look at Vance and assume he’s a couch fucker, but the concept once introduced and damn it he looks like a Chaise chaser, a Divan diddler, a Camelback humper; aroused by a nice Tight Back Sofa.
Yes, the Victorian protestants covered the legs of their furniture least they become aroused.
I believe Bertrand Russel summed up the Victorian mindset thusly:
"The essence of nice people is that they hate life as manifested in tendencies to co-operation, and in the boisterousness of children, and above all in sex, with the thought of which they are obsessed. In a word, nice people are those who have nasty minds".
@Lulz4l1f3 Bertrand Russel is an amazing figure. Somewhere on YouTube there’s a video of him being interviewed and given his clarity of thought and the breadth of his life - predating WWI - his observations are fascinating and a depressing. As a species and array of cultures we could be in such a better state of being.
