@catlynne333 my bigger concern is if someone is following the money.
That's a lot of money.
@catlynne333 so like.. wtf?
This resale nonsense is getting absolutely, utterly totally out of hand. May 3 The Interrupters are playing about, I dunno 30 minutes from here by foot. It's a mb 1500 seat place. The tickets are NOT sold out. So, GA is $57 (which is bonkers but whatever). And RIGHT THERE on the ticketmaster site, below the $57 ticket is the a "verified resale" ticket. FOR $146. FUCK TICKETMASTER.
@Fellixe what an astounding ... he's such a jerk.
@DJNoneYa Lee Valley is probably late because it's all online shopping, but that will cover ALL THE THINGS. So many of the things, many many.. that I want horribly.
@DJNoneYa yep, I watch almsot no sports, don't drive. That said, you get me some power tools for wood working or some baking shit? I'm happy like a pig in poop.
@DJNoneYa Honest to god I reckon this s part of the whole patriarchy/socialization thing. "nope, no interests besides yelling at sports and cars for you".
@DJNoneYa I think that the best bet, because we're so stunted, is that you figure out what few things we do and then go and find the stupid/luxury/obscure bits for that. Like "oh they drink whiskey" and so you get them fancy glasses. For me it's stuff like that or cooking stuff (I do most of the cooking/baking here) so it's stuff that I'd never buy myself.
@DJNoneYa Like I don't eat meet and I don't golf, but some of that is great. Hiconsomption has good gift guides.. as does Design Milk.
@DJNoneYa god help me, but there is some fun stuff on there.
@DJNoneYa I'm absolutely useless about this. I wind up turning to the Lee Valley baking/cooking section for idea. Also beard oil is great. I actually have a pocket knife on my list.
