@DJNoneYa I think that the best bet, because we're so stunted, is that you figure out what few things we do and then go and find the stupid/luxury/obscure bits for that. Like "oh they drink whiskey" and so you get them fancy glasses. For me it's stuff like that or cooking stuff (I do most of the cooking/baking here) so it's stuff that I'd never buy myself.
@DJNoneYa Honest to god I reckon this s part of the whole patriarchy/socialization thing. "nope, no interests besides yelling at sports and cars for you".
I used to think about that whole thing a lot til my current fella...he detests sports, and he's not in to cars....
that's always been my go to coming from a family of men who are....
