Yes! It really was an event! Where I used to vote on Long Island, we were actually still filling in the circles and scanning the paper. I am interested to see how voting is handled here in upstate NY. Your voting system is computerized? Damn! NY needs to catch up! πŸ™„

I'm not at all sure the progess is a good thing. Don't get me wrong - I trust the machines and think they make the whole process easier & more accurate. But it seems ... I don't know ... colder.

Oh, you nailed it! They really took the human element out of the process. Voting now feels so detached and sterilized. I agree with you. Progress has helped to make Voting easier and more accurate. The trade off.
