Caucus Chair-elect Rep Pete Aguilar (D-CA-31) will begin serving his 5th term in office in 2023. He is currently on the House Appropriations Committee and is the Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. Aguilar previously served as the Mayor of Redlands.

As Caucus Chair he will be to help steer the House Dems on legislative priorities, keeping members united on issues and messaging. Messaging is an issue Dems struggled with this past cycle and hope to work on en route to 2024.

Runoff Election
Statewide Early voting period is now in effect

A total of 424,000 Georgians have voted early... 23% of these voters had not voted last month.

Nearly 18,000 of those ... hadn't voted in the Nov 8th elections though registered. A plurality of this group of voters are Black and 46% are under 30.

voters have until Nov. 28 to request an absentee ballot to vote in the Georgia runoff for U.S. Senate.

Early in-person voting begins Nov. 28 (and possibly earlier in some counties).

Election Day is Dec. 6. Make sure you have your voting plan in place.
