I casually stopped drinking in 2018. Among the many health benefits was that a thick mental fog was lifted. I don’t think I ever would have gotten into writing had I not stopped and found that clarity.

As much as I want to see truth social fail and shut down, it has real value in that it is a platform where Trump continually confesses and incriminates himself. Pulling the plug on it doesn’t seem like a good idea quite yet.

Evil forces will swell and wane, but we must fight the urge and not vilify each other in its wake. In the gravest of situations, American unity is our most powerful asset.
