I got an Apple Watch last October and had it until this August when it broke. At first I thought I would be disappointed and run right out to get another one, but mostly I felt an overwhelming sense of relief. It is stressful to wear one all the time with it tracking every metric, sending me every message and always telling me I need to work out (when I had already planned to work out a bit later in the day). It has been several weeks without it now and I don’t miss it.

@BipolarArtist I took over my daughters Apple watch and wore it a few years. Battery blew out on it and I am now rocking a free Fitbit...not very stylish but also not missing the Apple as much as I thought I would.

@INtlBill I have an automatic skeleton Fossil that I am wearing now. Much more zen.

@BipolarArtist

no way do i let a computer direct my activity. nope💣
