Very nice. Have an ancient Canon Rebel. The zoom lens died and need to get a new one.
@feloneouscat @yadayadayada I may get a zoom lens at some point but wanted to start with a prime.
You will want a zoom. And a macro (I want both now). I’m not a great photographer but we live on land with a wildlife exemption and it’s great to take picks of the wildlife.

@feloneouscat @yadayadayada haha yeah that is the plan, but lenses aren’t quite free. I am going to see what I can do with this prime lens for a while before I buy anything else.
