S2: Day 156 (521)
Word Count: 0
Total: 46569

Spent the day watching "Moon Knight" and gaming. I did a little reading too, but not as much as I'd been hoping. I'll try again today.

My day off has been spent playing "Kingdom Hearts 3" and watching "Moon Knight".

Very successful.

After yesterday's yelling debacle with the kids, I decided to ground them from each other in the hopes that the time apart might make them more appreciative of the other's company. Youngest is still coughing and tired, so they really shouldn't be around each other anyway...which I told them yesterday and they ignored.

But...I think it's working? 🤞

S2: Day 155 (520)
Word Count: 1090
Total: 46569

I feel happy about my progress yesterday. It was a good day. Today is a day off from words...by choice! I'm trying to practice resting more, and today is the day I've dedicated to rest.

Anyone else ever embarrassed by how much their children yell while outside? Like, my neighbors must think we're awful. Especially when I have to yell back. This feels like a daily occurrence.

Got the Writing Music Playlist up on my YouTube. Time to get busy.

My State of the Book video for May. It's short and sweet. Basically, State of the Book is where I'm at with my writing life and how things went for the month.

Having a To-Do List yesterday really helped me. Sorry if you all aren't interested in my productivity. Typing out all of my goals and plans and sharing them just helps me focus better. It's out in the universe! It feels more possible for me to manifest it and make it reality.

I'll try not to be annoying about it. Today might not be going as planned, but I'm going to make the most of it all the same!

S2: Day 154 (519)
Word Count: 381
Total: 45479

I finally wrote things! Finally! Hopefully this is the beginning of something wonderful.

My youngest is sick with a nasty cold. It's day "Cough like you're dying and have a killer headache" for him. He's not quite big enough to stay back by himself just yet. So that means I have to miss work...again...to take care of him.

We have four days left of school. Four. I was really hoping we'd make it to the end of the year without anymore illness.

Guess I get to stay home and work on ME project things.

In happier news, I've written 380 words, and that's the most I've done in a while.

For better or worse, I'm cutting the shower and the gardening from my to-do list and calling it a day. I'm tired and my youngest has caught my death cold.

Here's how it's going...

- Day job ✔️
- Get trash together ✔️
- Shower
- Garden
- Write
- Read
- Dishes ✔️
- Order groceries ✔️
- Beta

I hope that by sharing my to-do list I can hold myself more accountable. And get excited. Not like I have big plans today, but soon I will!
