Having a To-Do List yesterday really helped me. Sorry if you all aren't interested in my productivity. Typing out all of my goals and plans and sharing them just helps me focus better. It's out in the universe! It feels more possible for me to manifest it and make it reality.
I'll try not to be annoying about it. Today might not be going as planned, but I'm going to make the most of it all the same!
@mouses I'm the same way! And I get so lost with what I'm supposed to be doing if I don't put some kind of thought process into the HOW I'm going to do things.
@BabyToaster Yes! I love having a nice chromebook and use google tasks/cal to keep everything in order. If It's something I need to get done, I schedule it. Even something as simple as taking out the trash. It just takes so much stress away, and it's so nice for the brain to push that 'task complete' button!
@mouses Ooh I haven't tried Google Tasks yet! I'll check that one out. :D
@BabyToaster It's great! It's on the right hand side of the gmail interface.
If you set things with a time, it'll even ping your phone or browser or whatever you want.
Helps me so much to get a 'ding' and see 'Oh, yeah, time to do this thing' vs just trying to keep it all in my head.
I've been in a caretaker role for a couple months now, and that's so beyond a full time job. Only way I ever get anything done is extreme organization!
@mouses I'll explore it today!
I always have a couple of lists going, sometimes more. (One for work, one for home/personal.)
Feels so good to cross something off, and definitely keeps me focused.
@tyghebright I like to have a digital one and a paper one. I keep a weekly list and a daily one that's more specific. If I'm planning on writing, I'll keep one for just that too. I do love crossing things off of it! And I make charts too sometimes! I'll bullet journal too, but my pages are more functional than pretty.
@BabyToaster That's a great idea writing things out....whatever list u have. Keep sharing and do what u need for YOU! πβ€οΈ
@LisaHope Thank you! :)
@BabyToaster yvw Jilly!! π₯°
@BabyToaster This works for me so well! I set a list with events, timers and reminders, and always feel great crossing things off.
If I don't organize and plan, I never get anything done!
