I spent the evening word doodling and snapping a lone star that I found beautiful while peering up and east into the Colorado twilight above.
Welp. It's official. I'm prediabetic. Does anyone have websites or cookbook suggestions to help me get this under control? Because the information is a little overwhelming.
Went to the doctor for my annual. Some things were as I expected but there were a couple of surprises. I've been trying to get healthier for years with mixed results. This last visit was the kick in the butt that I needed. I'm not past the point of no return, so that's good but, it's hard when you have to motivate yourself to do the things that will make you healthier, especially when you feel so unmotivated. For better or worse, the universe gave me that motivation, so let's see how this goes.

#cosomovies So apparently, Denzel Washington has been cast as Hannibal of Carthage, and some people have a problem with this.
Since nobody who wasn't there knows what Hannibal really looked like, I'd have to say the complaint is silly.
It feels like they're saying "But Hannibal might have been white! You don't know! So that's why a black person can't play him!"
I'd watch Denzel read a cereal box. I don't care who he plays.
