@Armchaircouch i've had a few 'others'.
but frankly, nothing really beats my solitude. i've loved a handful of men. while i think they all tried their best, their best was lacking a good deal. i added to their lives. they diminished mine....which may explain why they tried so hard to hold onto me when i finally called it quits.
i've had much better w/ a lover. 7+ yrs. reciprocal relationship. great sex. cared about my pleasure as much i cared about his. easy to be w/ & easy to chat w/.

@Armchaircouch My husband pretended to be the bouncer at a bar so he could check my ID and get my name. He followed me around all night and I ignored him because I was saying goodbye to friends before I moved out of state. About 3am we finally sat down and talked. The rest is history! Many ups and downs but it’s 46 years later.

@Armchaircouch Outside of one other three year relationship, I was a single Mom my entire adult life until I was almost 40 and met hubs. His son and my son were best friends. When hubs got divorced, the kids set us up.
I dated quite a bit as a single person.
