I have been a supporter in my own small way with Red Hot Org from its early days. This is a pretty amazing version of an old Prince song. Lauren Auder, with Wendy & Lisa.

It's now available on most platforms, so I'm posting it here.

Why, I mean WHY, the fuckin' fuck is Zelenzky meeting with Trump NOW?

So Jack Smith did file that huge brief - and I love the contradiction in that phrase - barely on time.

It is sealed.

A redacted version is to be made public soon, but Judge Chutkan has it in her hands.

I just discovered an entire 2nd season of "Almost Paradise" starring Christian Kane.

10 episodes. Watching now (and probably for the next few hours)

REposted - had to correct a spelling mistake, and I have to admit it's less funny now. Funny, just not AS funny as "Tourbillion"

from The Cure!

Like many of their best songs, it has a super long instrumental intro.

"Alone", by The Cure - available at all the usual places.

A DJ known as "The Kiffness" is on tour in Europe playing this track. Now here is a good use of autotune.

Thank you everyone for the well-wishes. Being a musician sharing your birthday with Ray Charles and Bruce Springsteen can be a bit intimidating, which is why I recommend gin for those of you who partake.

You know the universe has a sense of humor because I made it to 60.

Just because it's my birthday I'm not taking the week off for new music, and whoo boy there's a TON out this week. So....

It's my birthday and I don't have to adult if I don't wanna. Cookies, cake, pie (pizza pie) and ice cream later. All made by yours truly save for the pizza.

The universe must have a sense of humor. I made it to 60.

(I didn't know about Ani DiFranco, but I knew the rest)

Am I mis-remembering things or can Katy Perry actually sing? I seem to recall that she can actually sing, and sing well.

Been working my way through her new album, and aside from it being, well, dull for the most part, she is auto-tuned on nealy every note.

This may be a production choice, but I am of the very strong opinion that singers should sing.

I'm only a decent singer but I've never used auto-tune, and never will.

Yeah, I know there is a procrastination test in my news feed. I'll get to it at some point.

There is not, and never has been, a station called KBSF in the San Francisco Bay Area.

There was a Low Power radio station with those call letters in Portland, owned by Slavic Community Center of NW, Inc.

They were hit with a written warning by the FCC in March 2019. I do not know if they still exist.

The story supposedly attributed to them about VP Harris is a LIE.

It's a Goddamned LIE.

The first 20 minutes of the first episode of "Agatha All Along" is just about the most perfect parody ever.

I can't even tell you of what without it being a spoiler, so I'll put it in the follow-up post in this thread.

This is one of my favorite Drop D Metal bands. Tetrarch with their new single, "Live not Fantasize".
