@northernbassist no no no. quite wrong.

I can't look at G. Gordon Liddy without thinking of Tony Levin.

(first saw him perform in 1972 - he still had hair!)

And here it is my friends, Radio Free California Episode 2444! New music from The Effigies (Hat tip to Skafish who is also on this playlist), Von Hertzen Brothers, Glay, Flat Party, Palomino Blood, 2nd Grade, Queen of Jeans, BBBL, Ukraine's The Sixters, Linkin Park and much more. Enjoy!

Not sure how intimidating I'm supposed to find the threat of an IRS audit when the person they are praising wants to defund the IRS.

Nearly 200 years after it was composed, an unknown waltz thought to be by the Romantic-era composer Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)has been discovered in the Morgan Library & Museum in Manhattan, reports The New York Times.

The MSG hate rally

If you didn't know it, Dr. Phil is a rich scumbag that sounds like a racist.

My wife and both of my daughters have now voted. That's the whole clan now.

@RavenCutrereULC
Everyone should take their romantic cues from Gomez Addams. He was a master.

For the next couple of weeks I will mostly be replying to people on social media with the word:

INCORRECT.

Less so here I am happy to say.

@Autumn

How to say "I couldn't measure up" without saying "I couldn't measure up"

Are the Black Keys even capable of NOT recording the drums so loud that they clip?

They're a good band when they want to be, and the new single has Alice Cooper so you'd think we'd have something solid but those fucking drums.

I don't like it, but I recognize that I'm in the minority. So here you go: The Black Keys with Alice Cooper with "Stay In Your Grave"

@Skafish mighty fine keys playing on that one. I would not have thought of it.

I love that song. I sometimes trace the birth of punk to the original recording.

Aw man....

Phil was the nicest guy, and a true adventurer. I met him twice and he was friendly and smiled almost constantly.

There is a documentary about The Grateful Dead where a cameraman is following Phil, and he notices that the rig the camerman is holding causes one of his amp speakers to squeal. He then spends the next 10 minutes trying to find different sounds depending on where the camera is, and how to incorporate that into the live show. Awesome.

@northernbassist @XaoslordErie
After seeing that performance I hunted down every album she's on. Her discography is surprisingly small but damn she can play.

@XaoslordErie @northernbassist

That bassist had only joined up with the band 6 days earlier. He is Vincen García from Spain and is subbing in because Sonny T couldn't join this leg of the tour.

But you want a real treat? Here is Cory Wong on The Late Show performing the same song and the bass is now an Upright, played by Endea Owens.

@Dane
I get a real vibe of "she's making all this shit up".
