Beyoncé gives Kamala Harris permission to use her song ‘Freedom’ for her presidential campaign 🤩🤩🤩

cnn.com/2024/07/22/entertainme

Please, Republicans, sue over the process of how we Democrats are going to choose our candidate.

PLEASE.

I'd love to see it dropped over the same reason I can't sue the Republicants for standing behind an un-repentant, convicted felon.

Lack of Standing.

@Anouk Apparently his two "Bro" offspring pushed him into this choice.

So 2 brosephs pick another broseph.

My wife and I worked out hand signals when we were dating. 33 years later (most of those married) and we still use them.

@Graci

He plans to retire, and has announced it, so the plan is to fire him?

That'll go over well with the working class.

And here it is my friends, Radio Free California Episode 2430! A simpler week for new music this week including new music from The Linda Lindas, Fear 2 Stop, Footballhead, Fontaines D.C., Dutch Criminal Record, Rubi Ate the Fig, Childish Gambino, GRMLN, Joe Bonamassa with Train, POM, Fastball, Cory Wong with the Metropole Orchestra and much more. Enjoy!

As per usual my blog version will be up later today.

Um, if we're getting a Director's cut of Rebel Moon now - what was the point of the previous versions?

And of course I have a programming error and the outro plays at the same time as the first song.

Yeesh. Sorry about that.

10 at 10 starting in a few minites at Radio Free California. Go back to 1987 for just a little bit.

Working on Radio Free California now because I just can't turn on the TV. It's going to be a while before I trust any of these idiots again.

Music is my solace. Always was, always will be.

@AskTheDevil
As Atty. General she helped sue the mortgage industry and got a record-setting settlement from banks and lenders for homeowners in California. She officiated the first LGBGTQ+ Wedding in California after Prop 8 was overturned (Gavin had done a few before it was passed).

She and Gavin made a deal. Always support each other, and if one runs for Senate the other runs for Governor, and that's exactly what happened.

I could go on for days...

@AskTheDevil She started out as the District Atty in San Francisco, an election she won with the backing of San Francisco Powerhouse Willie Brown and future Mayor/governor Gavin Newsom. She was a prosecutor in the City before that.

At first I backed because Willie did. Willie in his prime was shockingly shrewd.

Gavin became mayor and many of his reforms were also Harris' reforms.

When Gavin was termed out he ran for Lt. Governor and Harris ran for state Atty. General. They both won.

True fact: I have voted for Kamala Harris in every election she has stood in. Not stopping now.

Worth pointing out - it has to be Harris. All that fund raising that they've done; without Biden Harris is the only person on earth who can leagally spend it.

VP Picks...

Pete Buttigieg - I wish but no. This country isn't going to put a gay man one heartbeat away. That sucks, but this is the US.

Mark Kelley - I wish but no. We need him in that AZ Senate race. A good pick, but the timing is off.

Gavin Newsom - No. 12th Amendment.

Beto O'Rourke - Maybe. Has a pretty good national profile and could make up ground in Texas, but I don't know if it's enough.

AOC - prepare for explosions! ^_^

@th3j35t3r We need Mark Kelly in that Senate race in Arizona. He'd be a great choice - just not this year.

@TheresaVermont Newsom isn't possible anyway. 12th amendment. She needs a mid-westerner or a southerner.

But the crime-family senile old man is still in the race...
