@AndyWTaylor So, I start-stopped many novels over the years. Ten years ago, I began keeping them. Two years ago, I took one of them, cleaned it up, split it into different books (it was too long) and submitted the first book to my publishers. I've completed 18 novels since. The key thing, I found, is to figure out the ending and then write toward that. The first draft is supposed to be a mess, so don't let that stop you. The main thing is to allow yourself to finish that book!

@scottyorange Our wine is pretty good. Spain has a lot to offer. Each region is distinct in its traditions. I'm from Galicia, in the Northwest. It's an ancient Celtic kingdom, and Portugal split off from it. It's lovely there. I would recommend it.

Hello #Cosos! Today is Nochebuena, so it's the big celebration at our house. I'll be making roast beast (pork) and congri (blackbeans and rice), plus my potato and apple salad and mock maduros (can't get plantains in Denmark, but I caramelize bananas). Unfortunately, I injured my shoulder typing yesterday (I know! I can't figure it out either!) and I'm in such pain. I took some meds. Anyway, Happy holidays! 🎄 ☃️ 🎅

@scottyorange Just to be clear, I'm not promoting giving children alcohol. I was raised in a Spanish fishing village and things were definitely different in the 70s. 😉

@scottyorange Oh, nice! Well, when I was little, it was 1/3 wine to 2/3 seltzer, which was enough alcohol exposure for a child. But as an adult beverage, 50/50 is excellent. You can add orange or lemon wedges. Try it with White Zinfandel on ice in summer. Delightful!

@Cadence Great work, Cadence! You became a success the minute you finished a book (which most people don't accomplish) and then published said book. From here on, it's all about growth, honing your craft and developing a community of readers. Enjoy the journey! However many books you sell, they are all positive numbers.
