Unfortunately, I'm more worried about the number of deluded Trump supporters who think he's obviously going to win, because everyone w̶h̶o̶ i̶s̶n̶'t̶ a̶v̶o̶i̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ t̶h̶e̶m̶ who they associate with also supports Trump. If (when, I hope) they learn he lost, they will conclude the election was stolen, and no rules apply any longer.

The original Listerine is 54 proof alcohol. So, yeah.

It's a wonder we didn't all get smashed as kids when we carried out a challenge to actually swallow the nasty, burning liquid. Fortunately the game only went one round.

All he has to do is remember the name of the group that gave him the award.

Which he could find out by looking at his wall if it happened, since he has no problem creating fake awards to put on his walls.

Each Al-Anon group has its own spirit, and many are on line. It's worth trying different ones.

@Kittiekatt53

What income does your family have? Do you have a way to set aside money for yourself? It's possible to set up bank accounts completely on line. Whose name(s) is the car in?

If he's trapped you there by hiding the car keys, he's likely alienated you from those who might help you. But don't assume they wanted to accept that, or that no one would drive out to pick you up. Complete strangers on the internet here care what happens to you. People who know you will, too.

Have a bad day? Watch this video, as an Atlanta weatherman on camera decides to wade in up to his chest to rescue a woman from her car in an overflowed creek.

They're making an example of them, given that the organization has repeated the stunt in other museums. They're not helping their cause.

A lot of women keep them as souvenirs if it was a hoped-for pregnancy.

I would not have picked up on these details if it had not been pointed out to me. No one will believe real photo evidence if they can't tell what's fake.

I'm going to guess the Native Americans had too much sense to build permanent dwellings on Cedar Key, though.

@Iveyjanette1 @Bix

Polling is pretty fraught nowadays. People don't trust unknown callers, and they don't trust callers who claim to be pollsters, since campaigns and even telemarketers use "push polls" to try to influence people rather than trying to gather their opinions.

If a caller contacted me and said they were doing an opinion poll for Fox News, I'd give them my opinion about Fox News, but I wouldn't answer any questions about the election.

@ecksmc

Obama had the same goal, knock on every door 3 times.

@ecksmc
It's different than a pyramid scheme, in that part of the plan is for the campaign to "mobilize" each voter at least three times.

I'm going to guess that means at least three volunteers checking the little box on the canvassing form that they actually talked to a voter, rather than not having the door answered.

Some poor schmuck who is willing to answer is door every time might get "mobilized" a dozen times, and all the volunteers would have it count.
