We do have a couple of lovely pieces in the #Zine email account, which I'll start blocking today to give us a working ToC.
Looks like we're aiming for one issue, but thank you to everyone for your submissions! I've been doing a lot of work for another volunteer gig this month, but I will try to make this one as beautiful as possible - so if you're on the fence about sending something in, look for that preliminary ToC tonight, to start!
November 15 will be a soft deadline for #Zine content.
This weekend, a template will be blocked with what we have, but as this issue is this editor's last, the priority will be creating as strong a piece as possible, in gratitude to all the people who've done lovely things for this site for years. More content welcome 'til the issue is full.
After it's published, all Zine materials and process docs will be made available, like keys in the car, for whoever takes it on next. 👍🏻 Happy submitting!
Human-generated art is welcome, but if you want to write something on the "ecosystem" concept in your Taoist philosophy (as per a recent post on your website), that would also be a rad submission for this #Zine. We've currently got a dialogue in the works between two CoSonauts on meditative practice, in part drawing from a Buddhist lens, so it would be excellent to represent a wider philosophical spectrum in our pages.
Hope we get something from you!
#Zine team, these dates are flexible. Let's face it: it's been a rough month. We have a crossword, some Buddhism, and a few bits and bobs... but not enough for an issue yet!
CoSo, send us your dreams! Stories, poems, photos, art, comics, essays on mutual aid & survival, how-to columns around nature & crafting... Look at the themes for inspiration, and if in doubt, ask yourself if your idea focuses on hope, natural &/or communal.
Then send it to [email protected].
A dream among CoSonauts, for all-onauts.
Published when we feel like it, celebrating hope/solarpunk, mutual aid, and kinder worlds.
