The best way to prevent nuclear war is to resist nuclear blackmail. If nuclear blackmail is successful, then every small power with nuclear weapons is encouraged to try it to get their agenda realized; and that increases the likelihood of nuclear war, localized or general, rather than decreasing it.

For those that don't know me, I love covers. Especially when an artist puts their own spin on a well known tune, creating something new and fresh.
I discovered many artists thru covers. I found Tom Waits, for instance, thru Bette Midler's cover of Shiver Me Timbers.
Ruthie Foster makes Ring of Fire her own. It's heartbreaking & beautiful.

I've been a fan of L.P. (Laura Pergolizzi) since first hearing her song "Into the Wild" on a Citi Bank commercial. During Covid, she gave several online concerts, some of which can be found on YouTube. I love that she is unapologetically Queer.
