Just a quick note about my little hobby, for those who don’t know me yet (I’m not here nearly as much as I used to be).

Most of my projects are made from wood I milled myself. I got logs from local arborists, mill then into slabs, wait a few years while they dry, then work the wood into whatever suits my needs. Life would be much easier if I just bought the lumber already surfaced. Doing myself adds to the story, IMO.
