Hello. I heard you've all been very good, so here's a treat - enjoy!

So, I'm an aspiring author of young adult books. I've finished my first book, and it's being beta read atm. Actually have already started the sequel. I'm planning on publishing on Kindle, because it feels like that's a comparatively quick way to get money coming in. Still have to figure out how marketing and promotion work on the internet, as well as retain an editor for a final edit after my last set of revisions.
If I don't have the process right, anyone can feel free to correct me.
Not gonna pay this on Twitter yet, so any fellow CoSoNauts in the UK have ahead start...
My local Co-op store seems to be getting rid of old beer stock. I just bought 10 660ml bottles of Doom Bar Beer and Thatchers Cider, plus a couple of cans of Brewdog for under Β£8.
Like, under 50p a bottle.
Don't know for sure, but I suspect those lines are being replaced and the same thing may be happening at other stores, depending on how much stock they hold.
Made another batch of banana muffins from the banana bread recipe in Chef Jose Andresβ World Central Kitchen cookbook. To truly savor them - with no mess - I cut them into three layers and put them on a dessert plate and butter them and eat them with a small fork. One muffin is a meal in itself. Get - and give - the cookbook at www.wck.org - youβll be supporting World Central Kitchenβs courageous work feeding victims of wars, natural disasters, and other perils.
Just started watching Reacher.
Kind've funny how the character is described as "impossible" by local police because he has no prints on record, no Facebook, Snapchat or Instagram, driver's license, mortgage or insurance claims.
Same here, buddy - hope I never get arrested in the US, sounds like I'd be fucked π
What's funny, in a sad kind of way, is I took the picture to share with a friend of mine, but then posted it later as part of a reply to some dickhead on the bird site claiming you couldn't buy ham sandwiches or Guinness in London.. π

Quite an interesting situation at work..
I'm a youth/community worker. I've had a school refer a young person to me. One of the big reasons is for "addiction", primarily to vapes.
Main reason seems to be that they respond aggressively to people taking their calling stuff away.
Kinda questioning rn whether that's a genuine case of addiction or just how their responding to adults taking their shit away.
I mostly do nerdy stuff with computers and music
