I'm a fairly easy-going sort, but I went into work today with an injury and then did shopping after, with a 25 minute walk home afterwards and, I swear, anyone who interrupted my chilling out after I got in by knocking on the door would've been risking a starring role in a new axe murderer urban legend π
Had a few glasses of wine and decided Ed my latest project is to teach my cat to shake hands. Paws. Whatever.
First attempt was not a success, she kept jumping back to avoid my touching her paws, but that's kind've to be expected. She got treats when I held her paw for a second or do.
Not a success but, realistically, a decent start, I reckon π
You know @WarrantCanary ?
I can't help but like their posts. I don't know why. I mean, I technically know it's an automated thing, but it just seems polite regardless..
Poking the bear. Sorry, bird.

In all the noise over #Unity3D 's 'runtime fee' clusterfuck and people talking about moving to other game engines for their projects. I'm surprised there's very little about #CryEngine. It looks very capable and has abunch of features that I would've thought would be more popular.

Cat's just finished her dinner, now she's sitting at the back door pretending she wants to go out. It's our little ritual. She's all "I MUST LEAVE TO HUNT IN THE NIGHT", and I'm like "don't be daft, you're not going out at this time of night" then she looks at me like "IT IS MY NATURE TO FIND PREY IN THE DARKNESS." Me: "You haven't even finished your dried food, you daft bugger"
"SOOOOO UNFAIR"
I lied. I got a second opinion (thanks @Kimmycott !)and it was totally me so I'm still here. But now I've sorted it and fired off my anti-troll salvo, I'm off to do those burgers)
Anyway, enough of #Twitter and wondering if they're having an outage. This place remains steady af, which is what counts :)
Time to fix up some dinner. Burgers tonight - I'm still contemplating whether to go old skool - tomato sauce and mustard, or whether to head more seriously into jalapano and cheese territory.
Much more important imo.
20 reports so far on a site a lot of people won't have heard of before, so there's a decent chance it's not just me..

OOooh, interesting..
There was a (short?) BBC film called Boiling Point a while back, about a chef - looks like they've turned it into a series now.

I mostly do nerdy stuff with computers and music
