I was 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. It was a Friday afternoon and early dismissals had just begun. The principal came over the intercom and announced that the President had been shot in Dallas. I still remember the look on Mrs. Wade's face.

Likewise. I went to a Catholic grade school and you best believe we spent the rest of the day on our knees!!

@whoHearer Same. I was in 5th grade. I got home and my mother was crying. It was the first time I'd ever seen the riderless horse in a funeral procession. So incredibly sad.
