Regarding the Trump assassination and why The Daily Show decided to not lampoon the RNC,

Huh? He was okay. The shooter was dead. There were more suicides by veterans that day, but Trump was his concern? What the actual fuck?

Really a shame they brought him back. Roy Wood Jr was the obvious choice for me, though Jordan Klepper would be a close second to helm the desk.

@Cosmichomicide @feloneouscat Agree with you on Wood and Klepper, but would put Desi Lydic also in top tier. Ronny Cheing and Stewart are good, second tier. Troy Iwata shows promise for the next generation. But above them all, nobody matches Trevor Noah, we want you back man!
Trevor was very good. He was cynical without playing sides. I’ve been unimpressed with the current incarnation of the Daily Show. They are playing sides and protecting millionaires.
As partner said, they protect their own.
